The controller is the natural person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.
2 · What data arises
2.1 Server log files
When you access this website your browser automatically transmits data which the hosting provider stores in log files:
- the address requested and the date of the request
- the volume of data transferred and whether the request succeeded
- browser type and version, operating system used
- the page previously visited, if transmitted
- IP address
This processing is technically necessary in order to deliver the site, keep it stable and detect attacks. The legal basis is the legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is not combined with any other source. Log files are deleted automatically after 30 days.
2.2 Enquiry form
If you complete the form, the details entered there are processed: name, email address, kennel, country, name of your bitch, registration number and registry, the merle answer, the expected season, health results and the text of your message.
These details serve solely to deal with your stud enquiry and any questions arising from it. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and, so far as it concerns steps preparatory to a stud agreement, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
The data is transmitted by email and stored in the mailbox. It remains there until the matter is settled and no retention obligations stand in the way, but for no longer than 24 months. That period is set so that an enquiry is still on file if a bitch is presented again at a later season. You may request deletion at any time.
After sending you automatically receive an acknowledgement at the email address given.
2.3 Contact by email
If you write directly by email, the message and the data arising from it are stored in order to deal with the matter. The same principles apply as under 2.2.
